This house was built in Grundafjordur on the Northern coast of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula in Iceland. Climatic conditions are most severe in this area : frequent heavy rains and strong winds. The house structure must comply with strict requirements for wind pressure and airtightness of building envelope.
